Which figures show whether your fund is stable and what to do if it is not.
4 min read · Retirement & Pensions
Your fund invests your savings. Its financial health affects the interest on your balance, the conversion rate and your risk.
Funding ratio
This ratio compares the fund's assets with its promised benefits. Above 100 % means the fund can cover its commitments; below 100 % can lead to restructuring measures such as lower interest or extra contributions.

- The interest paid on your balance compared with the legal minimum.
- The conversion rate on the extra-mandatory part.
- Administration and investment fees.
- The share of retirees versus active members.
What you can do
Ask for the annual report and read the key figures. Consider the fund's health before a large buy-in, and compare plans when changing jobs. See what the conversion rate does in the conversion calculator.
